Thanksgiving Data

The fourth grade mathematicians created some graphs to display Thanksgiving data.  From the number of people we were planning to eat with to our favorite Thanksgiving foods, these unique graphs show our Thanksgiving data.  Once we completed them, we used our turkey "glyphs" (picture graphs) to play a game about probability.

Simple Machines

The fourth grade scientists are exploring the world of physics.  They have discovered forces and motion and have recently begun building and using simple machines.  From inclined planes to screws, the fourth grade scientists are enjoying learning how these simple machines make work easier.
